Description
Many adults who self-identify as neurodivergent experience a cliff, whereas children they can find providers knowledgeable about their symptoms and needs but as adults they cannot. This session will provide an overview of common adult/teen neurodivergent diagnosis/identity presentations, comorbidities, practical strategies for working with neurodivergent people, and available resources to better meet their needs.

Presenter Biography
Rebekah McIntyre, LCSW, comes from a diverse clinical background spanning nearly 20 years in intensive trauma-focused work with children to comprehensive care for adults with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injury. She incorporates critical thinking and a passion for social justice into all aspects of her work. A New England native, she also has a passion for alpine skiing and spending time outdoors.
