Communities Responding to Domestic Violence: reaching men who batter

No trainings to show

Description

A presentation that teaches clinicians how to dance within the Coordinated Community Response framework. We will focus on clients who have committed domestic violence. Together we’ll explore: defining domestic violence, the clinician’s role, evidenced based interventions and strategies, when to refer to additional services, and working in tandem with other intervening entities.

For all in-person attendees:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and out an abundance of caution for the health and wellbeing of you, our colleagues around the state, the following precautions are being required:

  1. Face coverings must be worn by each attendee for the duration of the workshop; regardless of vaccination status.
  2. Seating will be at a reduced capacity in an effort to maintain a minimum of 6 foot distance. When arriving at, leaving, and moving about the training location, please attempt to maintain a social distance.
  3. Each attendee will have a complete and individual set of handouts, worksheets, and/or supplies provided at their seat.
  4. Sweetser staff will sanitize each table and chair before and after your workshop. Additionally, hand sanitizer will be available for attendees throughout the training.

Thank you for your understanding and support in ensuring we all get through this safe and healthy.
