“Not passing this bill now, by a two-thirds majority, will impact people’s lives,” said John McAnuff, chief financial officer of Sweetser, a statewide behavioral health organization, referring to the vote total necessary to pass the measure as an emergency in order for funding to be immediately available. “The clients that we serve are not numbers on a spreadsheet,” McAnuff said. “They are real people with real challenges, and disruptions in service will negatively impact their lives and the communities in which they live.” Read full story with link in bio.

What a blast! Appreciate all who came out to support our 2nd Annual Kidz Winter Jamboree, a free community concert hosted at the Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath. This fun, interactive children`s concert featured Amanda and Rob of @kindkidsmusic - a dynamic duo with original music, puppets, and a highly interactive program that seeks to entertain, educate, and inspire the whole family with messages of kindness, friendship, and fun. Over 50 elementary school-aged children and their families participated in the lively musical experience, racking up support for Sweetser`s programs through donations. With the generosity of attendees and the immense support of our sponsors, we raised essential funds for our programs in Sagadahoc County and beyond!
