Description

This workshop will define Self Care, Trauma Stewardship, and explore our ethical obligation to practice self-care. Self-care is not only critical to our professional self but a requirement of our NASW Code of ethics. How do we care for others when caring for ourselves and the stressors of the world we live in is overwhelming? We will explore concrete strategies for self-care, work in small groups and create individualized self-care plans for use now and in the future.

For all in-person attendees:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and out an abundance of caution for the health and wellbeing of you, our colleagues around the state, the following precautions are being required:

  1. Face coverings must be worn by each attendee for the duration of the workshop; regardless of vaccination status.
  2. Seating will be at a reduced capacity in an effort to maintain a minimum of 6 foot distance. When arriving at, leaving, and moving about the training location, please attempt to maintain a social distance.
  3. Each attendee will have a complete and individual set of handouts, worksheets, and/or supplies provided at their seat.
  4. Sweetser staff will sanitize each table and chair before and after your workshop. Additionally, hand sanitizer will be available for attendees throughout the training.

Thank you for your understanding and support in ensuring we all get through this safe and healthy.
