Description
Mental health professionals are faced with so many competing priorities that the treatment plan can fall out of focus. Sometimes it gets so lost that we find ourselves asking ‘where are we going with treatment?’ This session will discuss case conceptualization and how to use initial assessment as a roadmap for treatment from start to end. We will explore using ‘why’ as an impetus for getting to root issues and how to write goals and interventions that allow for deeper discussion about where we’re going, what’s not working and when it might be time to move to closing.
