The Intersectionality of Trauma and Personality Disorders: evidenced based treatment approaches

In this workshop we will explore: what trauma is and how it can be difficult to discern the criteria of trauma and diagnosing trauma related disorders; an outline of the diagnostic criteria surrounding personality disorders; how trauma impacts the diagnosing and treatment approaches in supporting clients who may also have a personality disorder diagnosis.  We will engage in a dialogue over the use of evidenced based treatment approaches in relationship to the intersectionality of trauma and its impact on treating personality disorders.
