This training will address current language, mental health, social, and cultural issues related to understanding and meeting the needs of trans and non-binary clients. We will explore the differences between sex, gender, and sexuality, as well as discuss practical and intentional ways to make your practice more gender inclusive.

Presenter Biography
Rebekah McIntyre, LCSW, comes from a diverse clinical background spanning nearly 20 years in intensive trauma-focused work with children to comprehensive care for adults with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injury. She incorporates critical thinking and a passion for social justice into all aspects of her work. A New England native, she also has a passion for alpine skiing and spending time outdoors.
